This is a rebranding exercise for de Young Museum, where brings a new look to the famous landmark in the heart of Golden Gate Park. This rebranding project showcases a new logo, a new attention-grabbing color scheme, brand design such as business cards and cover letter, as well as marketing material such as posters and brochures.
Logo Redesign
De Young’s exhibition hall is built with warm, natural materials that complement its natural surroundings. The landscape design with a sculpture garden beneath a cantilevered roof creates a harmonious connection between the building and surrounding environment, which inspired me to design a logo that fits with the style of this amazing architecture.
DeYoung App Refresh
A brand-new mobile app prototype that adapted to the new look. With features such as a feed page for most recent/featured exhibitions and articles, an event calendar, artists/exhibitions search. Furthermore, in-app tickets purchase and QR tickets for easy admission.
